Each course level is carefully designed to gradually build your sewing skills and confidence.

(Note: All session counts are estimated and may vary depending on individual progress.)

Entry-Level Course

Objective: Get familiar with the sewing machine, fabrics, tools, and complete your first simple projects.

  • How to use the sewing machine (~0.5–1 session) 
  • Introduction to fabrics and machine types (~0.5–2 sessions)
  • Basic sewing tools (~0.5–1 session)
  • Simple project: tote bag, cushion cover, or coasters (~1–2 sessions)

Estimated Total: 3–6 sessions

Garment Construction Course

1. Basic Level

Objective:

Confidently assemble simple garments.

  • Basic blouse: constructing front, back, sleeves, and using interfacing (~2 -3 sessions)
  • Elastic short pants with pockets (~2 -3 sessions)

Estimated Total: 4 – 6 sessions

2. Intermediate Level

Objective:

Enhance your skills with more detailed garment techniques.

  • Skirt with waistband, darts, and zipper (~3 – 4 sessions)
  • Princess seam dress: bodice gathering and bias tape application (~2 – 3 sessions)
  • Shirt bodice with plackets and buttons (~1 – 2 sessions)

Estimated Total: 6 – 8 sessions

3. Advanced Level

Objective:

Master more complex garment features and techniques.

  • Convertible collar (~2 – 3 sessions)
  • Cuff and sleeve placket (~2 – 3 sessions)
  • Shirt collar (~2 – 3 sessions)
  • Notched collar (~2 – 3 sessions)
  • Trousers, including waistband and detailed construction (~3 – 4 sessions)

Estimated Total: ~11 – 15 sessions

4. Professional Level

Objective:

Create high-end, professional-quality garments.

  • Blazer and coat making (~5 – 6 sessions)
  • Lingerie making (~4 – 5 sessions)
  • Couture garment making (~5 – 6 sessions)

Estimated Total: ~14 – 18 sessions

 

 

Pattern Making Course

(A mix of 2D drafting and 3D draping techniques.)

1. Basic Level

  • Draping front and back bodices (~1 session)
  • 2D drafting for bodice (~1 – 2 sessions)
  • 2D drafting for sleeves (~0.5 – 1 session)
  • Draping a basic sleeve (~0.5 – 1 session)
  • Drafting elastic pants (~1 session)

Estimated Total: ~4 – 6 sessions

2. Intermediate Level

  • Dart manipulation variations (~1 – 2 sessions)
  • Complex pattern designs: pleats, ruffles, flounces (~1 – 2 sessions)
  • Sleeve variations (~1 – 2 sessions)
  • Skirt variations (~1 – 2 sessions)
  • Convertible collar and shirt collar drafting and draping (~1 – 2 sessions)

Estimated Total: ~5 – 10 sessions

3. Advanced Level

  • Draping a notched collar for blazers and coats (~3 – 5 sessions)
  • Draping a lingerie bra-top (~2 – 4 sessions)

Estimated Total: ~5 – 9 sessions

4. Professional Level

  • TR cutting techniques and advanced creative design (~7 – 10 sessions)

Estimated Total: ~7 – 10 sessions

Important Note:

Session estimates are based on students following the program from the beginning.

If you join midway, extra sessions may be required to review or relearn earlier techniques.
