This hands-on workshop is divided into two practical parts, designed to help you feel confident with both overlock machines and common sewing machine issues.

🧵 Part 1 – Overlock Machines from Zero

Perfect if you’re new to overlockers or still feel unsure using one.

We will cover:

• What an overlock machine is and how it differs from a regular sewing machine

• How to thread an overlock machine step by step

• Basic settings and adjustments

• How to use an overlock correctly for clean, professional finishes

• Comparison of 3 different types of overlock machines, so you understand the differences and choose what suits you best

No prior overlock experience needed – we start from the very beginning.

🪡 Part 2 – Sewing Machine Troubleshooting & Extra Feet

This part is more technical and focused on problem-solving, ideal for those who already know how to use a regular sewing machine.

We will cover:

• Common sewing machine issues (skipped stitches, tension problems, thread breaking, etc.)

• How to diagnose and fix problems yourself

• Using extra sewing machine feet and when to use each one

• Tips to improve stitch quality and sewing efficiency

This workshop is practical, beginner-friendly for overlock machines, and skill-deepening for sewing machine users. Bring your questions – we’ll troubleshoot together 💬

How to Find Us

Our workshop is located at Kronehoefstraat 85, Eindhoven.

• You’ll see the windows of our studio on the Boschdijk side, directly opposite Jumbo.

• The main entrance is on Kronehoefstraat 85 5612HL Eindhoven, right across from the roundabout traffic lights.

🚗 Parking:

• Free parking is available at the back of the building.

• To enter, you’ll need a code for the barrier – please send us a private message to receive the passcode.

• Once inside the parking area, go to the end and on the right side, you’ll find the back entrance.

🔑 Entering the building:

• At both entrances, please call or text us. The door can be opened via our app.

• Main entrance (Kronehoefstraat): After the unlock sound, you’ll need to pull the door to open it.

• Back entrance (parking side): The door will open automatically once we unlock it for you.

➡️ Inside the building:

• Go through the wooden door, walk down the hallway and turn left.

• At the end of the hallway, on the right side, you’ll find our studio.

• If you arrive a little early, there will be chairs outside where you can wait.
